As a new division and brainchild of MasterWerks, Edina’s highly respected building solutions firm, HausWerks draws on decades of experience pinpointing, assessing, and constructing, reconstructing, or transforming promising older homes for clients who value living well and investing wisely.

Our companies share the same exceptional team of professionals and artisans; the same rigorous, strategic methodology; and the same commitment to constructing, reconstructing, and transforming promising properties into elegant, investment-grade homes.

Where we differ is that MasterWerks focuses on serving individual custom clients who in many cases wish to build, transform, or upgrade homes they already own or are considering purchasing. The work done on their behalf is understandably client-driven and highly personalized.  And necessarily, the outcomes are shaped—and often limited—by the budgets of the owners, and sometimes, their individual prerequisites and idiosyncrasies.

 

In fact, because of MasterWerks’ commitment to achieving investment-grade solutions, we frequently find ourselves developing workarounds for these requirements to avoid potential future valuation loss, because the homeowners are often influenced by fleeting fashion trends, their peers, or their own ideas that put stylistic integrity, livability, and desirability at risk. Fortunately, their resale numbers have underscored the success of our ad hoc “saves,” with sellers routinely achieving stellar equity gains with almost zero market time.

So, as a direct result of our extensive track record for value creation and lifestyle enhancement—and admittedly, some frustration with the inevitable, client-imposed limitations—we’re charting this new parallel path: HausWerks.

In contrast with MasterWerks, HausWerks designs and builds with a free hand. We vet and purchase each promising property in accordance with our time-tested selection process, keeping in mind the needs and requirements of discerning, upscale people.

The goal is always a classically beautiful, livable home in move-in ready condition, located in premier neighborhoods known for safety, convenience, good schools, and proven appreciation, offered at a fair price with the opportunity for downstream ROI. But since we’re not catering to the needs and limitations of individual owners, we’re fully able to implement our own proven, requisite criteria and offer a truly superior, executive-class artisan home.
